To qualify for this scholarship, students can be freshman through seniors, but must be accepted as a music major or minor. Preference is for a student studying the organ, with consideration given to a student enrolled in a choral ensemble only if a qualified organ student is not available. The student must have good academic standing and minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 with a preference for 3.0+.
Preference will be given to a student who has significant financial need, as this scholarship is to be used for tuition and room and board expenses.
This scholarship can be renewed.

|Selection Procedure||The department's Scholarship Committee identifies the recipient and recommends the candidate to the department chair.|
|Notification||The recipient of the scholarship will receive official notification from the department of Music and Theatre Arts.|
