Mary Snudden Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria Eligible students must be full-time undergraduate elementary education majors with a GPA of 3.00, and have completed, or be completing, the elementary block. They must have completed, or be completing, the Category II (natural sciences) component of the general education requirements, and be recommended by the MCEA program faculty for his/her student-teaching experience. Applicants should have demonstrated excellent potential as an elementary teacher and be interested in environmental education.
Application Procedure

Go to the Gold for Blugolds Scholarship Network. Complete the Teacher Education Scholarship Application.

Selection Procedure The selection will be made by the Education Scholarship Committee and a representative from the biology department. The scholarship will be paid while the student is student-teaching, either fall or spring semester.
Selection Deadline On or about April 1.
Notification The office of the associate dean of Education and Human Sciences will notify the recipient by letter. The recipient will be invited to participate in the College of Education and Human Sciences awards ceremony each spring.
Thank You The recipient should write a thank you note to the Snudden Family and send it in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation.
