Eligibility Criteria

Awarded to a full-time, resident sophomore or junior accounting major who has been accepted into the College of Business. The recipient must intend to work in the profession upon graduation and have a GPA of 3.0 or above.

The successful applicant for this award must have participated in college or community organizations and exhibited a potential for leadership as displayed by those activities.

Diversified students are encouraged to apply for this award.

Financial need is required.

Application Deadline Applications become available the week before spring break and are due the week after spring break.
Selection Procedure The scholarship recipient will be selected by the Accounting and Finance Scholarship Committee. In the event of a tie, the award will be given to the student with the highest cumulative GPA at that time. The scholarship will not be divided.
Selection Deadline Prior to the end of the spring semester.
Notification The Scholarship Committee will send the recipient a notification letter, with a copy sent to the Financial Aid and Foundation offices.

This scholarship was established through contributions by alumni and other associates employed by EY CPAs as a manifestation of their esteem for the excellent job done in preparing accountants for the profession.
