Eligibility Criteria Recipient's service may be in reporting, copy writing, layout, editing, artwork, or any related function to a University publication, including: The View, The Spectator, The Flip Side, Connections, WUEC-FM, TV-10, NOTA, and UW-Eau Claire News Bureau's news releases, as well as meritorious performance of a student for a University web publication. The recipient must be a continuing student.
Application Procedure Students do not apply for this award. Candidates are nominated by the advisor or supervisor of the named publications above. If you wish to be considered for this award, contact your advisor.
Selection Procedure The Communication and Journalism Scholarship Committee will select the recipient. Advisors who nominate students may also be included in the selection process.
Selection Deadline Early to mid- April.

The chair of the department will send notification to the recipient.

The winner is expected to attend the Communication and Journalism Student Excellence Recognition Reception held the last day of spring classes.

Thank You Recipients should write a thank-you note addressed to the Arthur L. Murray Journalism Fund and submit it directly to the Communication and Journalism department program assistant.
