|Availability||Annually, in rotation between departments on a three-year cycle. The rotation cycle segments are designated as follows: 1.) 2013-2014 is awarded by the Pre-Medicine program; 2.) 2014-2015 is awarded by the Environmental and Public Health department; and 3.) 2015-2016 is awarded by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Once the cycle has been completed, it continues as it began.|
Available to juniors, seniors or graduate students with strong academic backgrounds and a minimum 3.5 GPA in their field of study.
Financial need is not required; however, in instances when all other factors are equal between two finalists, the student exhibiting financial need shall be selected.

|Selection Procedure||The respective academic scholarship selection committee shall determine if the academic requirements of the scholarship have been met by the applicants.|
|Selection Deadline||On or around the end of April for the pre-medicine program;
Prior to the Nursing and Health Sciences Scholarship Dinner for nursing;
As determined by the department for environmental health professions.
|Notification||It will be the responsibility of the Selection Committee in charge of the scholarship each year to inform the recipient by letter.|
