|Amount||A variable number of awards up to $21,500. Total amount available is $21,500.|
|Availability||Fall and Spring Semesters.|
Applicants must be nontraditional students, age 23 or above, returning to school after an interruption in their education, who are independent of parental support. Students enrolling as 'specials' are eligible.
Financial need is required.
|Application Procedure||To be considered for the Returning Adult Student Fund, you will need to complete the Returning Adult Student Fund application. For questions or details on how to apply, please contact the Advising, Retention and Careers Center at: firstname.lastname@example.org.|
|Selection Procedure||Nontraditional Student Services will coordinate the selection process. Applications will be considered holistically and include a review of the student’s academic record and financial need (in most cases).|
|Selection Deadline||Approximately three weeks after fall and spring semesters begin. Please check the NSS website for exact dates each semester.|
|Notification||Award notices will be sent to scholarship recipients, typically in early July.|
|Thank You||Recipients are expected to write thank you letters addressed to 'Foundation Board Members' and send them in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation office.|
