Eugene B. Arnold Scholarship

Availability Beginning in the 2018-2019 academic year.
Eligibility Criteria Recipients must be enrolled full-time at UW-Eau Claire in the College of Business Information Systems (IS) program, and be of junior or senior status. Recipients must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher and demonstrate an appreciate for UW-Eau Claire's collaborative relationships between students and faculty. Preference will be given to students who are active in a college organization, preferably in a leadership role, as well as students who have been active with a community volunteer organization for at least two years. Financial need is not a requirement or consideration for this scholarship. If there are no qualified candidates in a given year, the award amounts will carried over to the subsequent years and accumulated until a qualified candidate is selected.

Selection Procedure The Information Systems Scholarship Committee will make the selection.
Notification Official notification will be sent to recipients by the Information Systems Scholarship Committee chair.
Special Notes Gene Arnold earned a BBA in Management Information Systems from UW-Eau Claire in 1985. Casey Golden, Gene's Daughter, earned a BBA in Information Systems in 2015 and played four years of varsity softball. Gene has been with Kimberly-Clark Corporation since June of 1985 and is now a V.P. in Sales. Casey joined Kohl's corporation in July of 2016 in their Information Systems department. Both credit their years at UW-Eau Claire, the School of Business, and the Information Systems department for their success in their personal and professional lives.
Thank You The recipient is expected to address a letter addressed to Eugene Arnold and Family and send it in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation. The recipient will also be invited to meet on-campus with the donor and family.
