Special Notes

Barbara Kraft is an alumnus who graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 1965. She was a life-long educator. She grew up in Eau Claire and also has a life-long passion for music. Ms. Kraft, a philanthropist who is now retired, volunteers her time performing with a fellow musician at nursing homes in her New York community of Norwich.

Barbara's ultimate gift will be an estate gift which will provide scholarships in the area of education and nursing. However, because of her passion for both education and choral singing, she recently made a $4,000 annual gift to support both those areas. She was motivated by the 'string quartet recruitment scholarship' and chose both choral and music education as the area she wants to support. This is a one-time gift for now, but has the “possibility” of renewal.

Thank You Thank you letters should be addressed to Barbara Kraft and sent in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation office.
