|Amount||One award of $2,000.|
Available for single parent students with financial need. A minimum 2.0 GPA is required for freshman entering out of high school.
The scholarship can be renewed four times by the same student, for a maximum of five total years.
In the case of renewal for a previous recipient, an acceptable academic performance during the previous scholarship year(s) as determined by the scholarship selection person or committee, is required.
To be considered for Nontraditional Student Scholarships, you must be admitted to the university, enrolled in courses, and be in good academic standing. Once you are admitted and enrolled, you must:
|Selection Procedure||Nontraditional Student Services will coordinate the selection process. Applications will be considered holistically and include a review of the student’s academic record and financial need (in most cases).|
|Selection Deadline||Screening of candidates will begin in April.|
|Notification||Award notices will be sent to scholarship recipients, typically in early July.|
