Eligibility Criteria

At the time of application, a student must be a declared pre-practicum undergraduate major in health care administration who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to service in the health care field. To qualify for the award, a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required.

Students who have had volunteer or work experience within an assisted living setting will be given preference.

Selection Procedure The Health Care Administration Scholarship Committee will select the recipients.
Selection Deadline Prior to the CHAASE banquet.
Notification

Notification will be made by the selection committee by letter or email. The recipient will be recognized at the annual Center for Health and Aging Services Excellence (CHAASE) Spring Banquet, which is held in April, and the recipient's name will be posted on the departmental bulletin board and included in the department newsletter.
