Eligibility Criteria Awarded to a student who will be receiving the scholarship during the junior or senior academic year. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and be majoring in chemistry, physics, mathematics, or materials science. Special consideration will first be given first to a student from the Thorp, WI, area and secondly to a student from Clark County, WI, however, neither of these are requirements. If more than one student qualifies for the award, the student with highest financial need will be given first consideration.
Application Procedure Go to the Gold for Blugolds Scholarship Network. Complete the scholarship application that corresponds with your major(s). The information gathered through that scholarship application will automatically enter you into consideration for all College of Arts & Sciences scholarships for which you are eligible.
Selection Procedure Scholarship recipient will be selected by a group consisting of a representative from each of the departmental or program Scholarship Committees.
Notification The recipient will be informed by letter by the chair of the awards committee.
