| Eligibility Criteria
||Intended to give financial assistance to a full-time undergraduate elementary education major (special education majors not included) during their practicum semester, who has attained a high level of scholarship and shows promise for becoming a successful career teacher. To be eligible, the student must have been recommended by the MCEA program faculty for an elementary practicum experience and have a resident GPA of 3.50 or higher.

| Selection Procedure
||The Education Scholarship Committee will select the recipient of the scholarship based upon the criteria above.
| Selection Deadline
||On or about April 1.
||The office of the associate dean of Education and Human Sciences will notify the recipient by letter. The recipient will be invited to participate in the College of Education and Human Sciences awards ceremony each spring.
