Rhodes and Roberta Lewis Music Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

This scholarship will always provide two awards.

One award will be made to a full-time Music Education major, who has completed at least 90 semester hours at the time of application and who has at least one year of undergraduate studies remaining, plus: has achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, and an active membership in MENC.

The second award will be made to a full-time Music Performance major (including a theory and composition major) who has completed at least 90 semester hours at the time of application and has at least one year of undergraduate studies remaining, plus: has achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, and participates in a music student organization such as ACDA, IJEA or ASTA.

Application Procedure Go to the Gold for Blugolds Scholarship Network. For first time music students, complete the Music and Theatre Arts Audition Application. For continuing music students, complete the Music and Theatre Arts Scholarship Application.
Selection Procedure Must always award one Music Education major and one Music Performance major. The Music faculty will review applications, which have been confirmed by the Division coordinators. The Music Division coordinators will notify those eligible. The final recommendations will be forwarded to the department chair.
Notification The recipient of the scholarship will receive official notification from the department of Music and Theatre Arts.
Thank You Recipients are expected to send an acknowledgement of the scholarship to the family of Rhodes and Roberta Lewis, in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation.
