| Eligibility Criteria
||Preference will be given to music majors and minors, but will not exclusively. Financial need is NOT a factor and the scholarship will be based on materials submitted. (See below) Student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
| Application Procedure
||Submit the application form, available in the department of music and theatre arts, along with a separate sheet, listing all musical awards, honors and achievements since entering college. Also included should be one coherent essay answering the following two questions using 750 words maximum: 'How will/have you influenced others with music?' and 'How have you adhered to the highest standards of citizenship in schools and communities?'

| Selection Procedure
||The collegiate members of Sigma Alpha Iota, Epsilon Omicron, will narrow the applicants down, but associated faculty will make the final decision.

||End of spring semester.
||The recipient will receive official notification from Sigma Alpha Iota, Epsilon Omicron. The chair of music and theatre arts submits a scholarship award form to Financial Aid.
