Eligibility Criteria Awarded annually to an undergraduate from a federally-recognized tribe who is pursuing study in the areas of the biological sciences, health professions or education at UW- Eau Claire.
Application Procedure Application forms are available in Multicultural Affairs.
Application Deadline April 15.
Selection Procedure The coordinator of American Indian studies, the director of Multicultural Affairs, and three American Indian alumni, if available, will choose the recipient.
Selection Deadline Prior to the April pow-wow.
Notification The coordinator of American Indian studies will notify the recipient by letter and submit a scholarship award form to Financial Aid so the award will be applied to the student's account for the following academic year. The award will also be announced at the April Pow-wow.
Special Notes American Indian alumni support this scholarship. It is their interest to collectively build the principal to create an endowed scholarship.
