|Amount||Two awards of $1,000 each.|
Awarded during the second semester of each academic year. Applicants must be admitted to the College of Business with a declared major in Accounting, have a grade point average of at least 3.0, have junior standing at the time the scholarship is received, and has successfully completed 'Accounting 301' with at least a B grade.
The committee will also consider the following in reviewing applications: participation in university, college, department, community and/or volunteer organizations, demonstrated potential for leadership as displayed by activities while in college, performance during study abroad, desire to enter the accounting profession with a preference to public accounting, and jobs held which are applicable toward future employment within the accounting profession.
If a tie occurs in the selection of a candidate, the award will be given to the student with the highest overall grade point average at that time. The award shall not be divided.

|Selection Procedure||Candidate selection will be made by the Accounting and Finance Scholarship Committee.|
|Notification||The Accounting and Finance Department Scholarship Committee will send the recipient a notification letter.|
