Special Notes This scholarship was established in memory of Jennifer Marks, who died tragically in a car accident in August of 2000. Jennifer graduated from Fall Creek High School in 1993, earning her undergraduate degree from UW-Eau Claire in 1998 with highest honors. She went on to earn her master's degree in communication disorders, also from UW-Eau Claire, in the spring of 2000. Jennifer was working for the Tomah School District, travelling in between schools, when her car was struck by a train, killing both her and a co-worker. Jennifer was 'the kind of person who elevated everyone. She was kind, caring and a wonderful companion.'
Thank You The recipient should write a thank you letter to the Marks Family, in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, and forward it to the CSD Graduate Coordinator, who will in turn forward the letter on to the Foundation.
