|Amount||One award of $1,000.|
Awarded during the spring semester to an accounting major who has completed between 30-60 credits by June of the academic year. Recipient must be a full-time student with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above and GPA of 3.3 or higher in accounting courses. The student must have demonstrated leadership in university, college, department and/or community organizations, and have the ability and desire to enter the accounting profession.
Recipients of higher scholarship awards (i.e., AICPA, WAES, etc.) are disqualified . In the event of a tie, the award will be given to the student with the highest cumulative GPA, as it shall not be divided.
Diverse students are encouraged to apply.
Financial need is required.

|Application Deadline||Applications become available the week before spring break and are due the week after spring break.|
|Selection Procedure||Prior to the end of spring semester.|
|Notification||An announcement is made prior to the Honors Banquet. The chair submits a scholarship award form to the Financial Aid office.|
|Special Notes||This scholarship was established by Patricia's friends and relatives as a manifestation of their esteem for the excellent job done by the University in preparation of accountants for the profession. The purpose of this award is to recognize Patricia's high regard for broad participation in academic and extracurricular activities and her desire to enhance educational opportunities for young people.|
