| Eligibility Criteria
||This is an interdisciplinary, merit-based scholarship that was created to support undergraduate students in the physical or biological sciences: biology, chemistry, materials science, geography, geology or physics and astronomy. It can also be used to support undergraduate researchers chosen on the basis of academic merit and research aptitude.
| Application Procedure
||Go to the Gold for Blugolds Scholarship Network. Complete the scholarship application that corresponds with your major(s). The information gathered through that scholarship application will automatically enter you into consideration for all College of Arts & Sciences scholarships for which you are eligible.
| Selection Procedure
||The chair of each department will select two finalists from all of the applications received in their department/program. The A&S dean's office will be notified of the two finalists from each department/program by April 1st, and a copy of the finalist's application form should be forwarded to them. One packet of finalists' applications should be sent to each of the chairs for final ranking. The College of Arts and Sciences Scholarship Committee composed of the chairs of the departments involved, and chaired by the dean or the dean's designee, will meet in early April to select the overall finalist for the award.
||The dean will notify the recipient by letter.
